Markets news on stocks, currencies and oil: The number of persons employed in the Eurozone (EA16) fell by 0.8% (1,220,000 persons) in the first quarter of 2009 compared with the previous quarter, according to national accounts estimates published today by Eurostat, the statistics office of the European Union.
