Jobs at Irish venture capital backed firms rose at an annual rate of 18.6% to 9,733 across the island of Ireland from 2003 to 2009, according to an independent economic impact study by UCD’s Department of Entrepreneurial Studies. However, funds will run out of money by 2012.
