Japan’s economy emerges from recession

Japan’s economy emerged from recession in the second quarter ended June 30th, growing for the first time in five quarters as a recovery in exports and consumer spending dragged the world's second biggest economy out of the worst recession since its defeat in the Pacific War, in 1945. Stocks fell on concern the recovery won’t last.
