Is the gold market a bubble?

Gold is now trading at nearly $1,300/oz and €1,000/oz and recurring question in recent years is whether the gold market is a bubble? The simple answer to that question is that nobody knows and nobody can know as the future price movement of all asset classes is unknowable.  Investors should be dubious of forecasts by brokers and product providers of an increase in the value of any asset class. Similarly, they should be dubious of “experts” who warn that the price of gold is “high”.
