Irish Services PMI accelerated in February as new orders returned to growth

Irish Services PMI (Purchasing Manager's Index) accelerated in February  as new orders returned to growth. The seasonally adjusted Business Activity Index - - which is based on a single question asking respondents to report on the actual change in business activity at their companies compared to one month ago - - rose to 55.1, up from 53.9 to indicate that activity at Irish service providers increased markedly during February. According to respondents, higher new orders was the main factor behind activity growth, which was sharper than the long-run series average.
