Irish Services Economy: The seasonally adjusted Business Activity Index - - which is based on a single question asking respondents to report on the actual change in business activity at their companies compared to one month ago - - posted 50.8 in November, broadly unchanged from October’s 50.9. Irish service providers have now recorded an increase in business activity in seven of the past eight months. However, the rate of expansion remained only marginal amid uncertainty surrounding the wider Irish economy. Financial Services companies saw a much worse performance than in the previous month as activity fell markedly.
