Irish Services: January data pointed to a further considerable fall in activity, as highlighted by the seasonally adjusted Business Activity Index posting 33.9. Moreover, the pace of contraction accelerated to its second-fastest in the history of the survey. The latest decline extended the current period of contraction to twelve months.
