The seasonally adjusted Irish service sector activity Business Activity Index - - which is based on a single question asking respondents to report on the actual change in business activity at their companies compared to one month ago - - remained above the 50.0 no change mark, at 51.1 in March. However, the index was below the reading of 55.1 from February, signalling that the rate of expansion slowed over the month, and was only slight.
