Irish Retail Sales fell 1.8% in March - down 2.1% in 12-month period

Irish Retail Sales: The CSO said today that the volume of retail sales (i.e. excluding price effects) decreased by 2.1% in March 2008 compared to March 2007. There was a monthly decrease of 1.8%. If Motor Trades are excluded there was an annual increase of 1.2%and the monthly change was –1.1%.
