Irish Public Sector employment rose 5,200 in year to September 2008; Earnings gained 2.9%; IBEC calls for immediate deferral of pay agreement

The CSO reported today that Irish Public Sector employment rose 5,200 in the year to September 2008; Earnings gained 2.9% (excluding the Health Sector) and in related news, business group IBEC called for immediate deferral of pay agreement, which it says is vital in national interest.
