Irish production for Manufacturing Industries in year to September 2008 was up 4.3% boosted by a 42% rise in basic chemicals sector

On an annual basis Irish production for Manufacturing Industries for September 2008 was 4.3% higher than in September 2007. The main contributor to the annual increase was the Basic chemicals sector (+42%), the CSO said today.
