Irish planning permissions for dwelling units approved down 16.9% in the second quarter of 2008

The CSO reported today that in the second quarter of 2008, Irish planning permissions were granted for 19,942 dwelling units, compared with 23,988 units for the same period in 2007, a decrease of 16.9%.
