Irish monthly manufacturing prices increased by 0.9% in September 2008; Movements in US dollar have key impact

Irish monthly manufacturing prices increased by 0.9% in September 2008, the CSO said today. This compares to a decrease of 1.1% recorded for September 2007. As a result, the annual percentage change showed an increase of 0.7% in September 2008, compared with a decrease of 1.3% in August 2008.
