Irish mergers and acquisition (M&A) activity, led by CRH, remained strong for the second quarter of the year with deal volume actually up on the same period last year, according to CFM Capital, the corporate finance division of Mazars. 21 Irish companies were sold to foreign buyers for a combined value of €311 million, up from 9 in 2007.
