Irish merchandise exports static in May; Imports tumbled 24%; Exports down in 12-month period

With seasonally adjusted Irish merchandise exports remaining static and imports decreasing by 24% (or €1.20bn) between April and May, the trade surplus increased by 44% to €3.78bn. Exports were slightly down in 12-month period.
