Irish Live Register in August at 449,600; Number of non-Irish nationals at 78,995 almost unchanged in 12 month period

On a seasonally adjusted basis there was an increase of 1,600 or 0.4% on the Irish Live Register in the month to August 2011. A seasonally adjusted increase of 1,600 was also recorded in July 2011. Over the last twelve months the Live Register seasonally adjusted series has remained in the relatively narrow range of 441,100 and 449,600. The number of non-Irish nationals at 78,995, almost unchanged in 12 month period.
