Irish Life & Permanent reports operating loss of €197m in 2010

Irish Life & Permanent today reported an operating loss of €197m in 2010 [2009: €196m]. IL&P posted a profit of in the life business of €160m [2009: €102m] minus a loss in the banking business, Permanent Tsb, of €364m [2009: €270m].
