Irish Government wants pay ceiling of €500,000 for bankers; Report rejects claims huge earning hikes related to hiring problems

The Minister for Finance today published the Report of the Covered Institutions Remuneration Oversight Committee (CIROC), which was prepared under the Covered Institutions (Financial Support) Scheme 2008 --  which provides a State guarantee for financial institutions. The report rejects claims, that huge earning hikes related to hiring problems.
