Irish Farmers Association protest against HQ price-fixing raid; Competition Authority investigating liquid milk market

Members of the Irish Farmers Association (IFA) are protesting today at Minister Richard Bruton’s office in Dublin to "highlight the failed regulation and flawed legislation that has allowed the powerful multiples to dominate the food supply chain and fleece farmers to bolster their profits." The  Competition Authority today issued a statement and said it is investigating possible price-fixing in the liquid milk market.
