Irish Economy: IMF warns of “consolidation fatigue”; Ireland faces relatively modest growth potential and high unemployment

The IMF (International Monetary Fund) warned today of “consolidation fatigue” - - in effect a faltering in the efforts to bring the public finances under control and in a statement following a visit in May, it said Ireland is likely to emerge from its output contraction into a period of relatively modest growth potential and high unemployment.
