Irish Economy: Goodbody Stockbrokers today forecasts a return to modest growth in 2011 after a 15% plunge in GDP in 2008-2010. It says given that the economy continues to deteriorate and recovery is still some way off, it may seem premature to be discussing the possible characteristics and timing of a recovery in Ireland. However, some signs of bottoming in the global economy suggest that it is a topic which at least deserves some closer analysis.
