Irish Economy 2011: ESRI lowers growth forecasts; Prudent to ‘overachieve’ on 2012 budget targets

Irish Economy 2011: The Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) in its latest economic outlook, has lowered its growth forecasts for the economy while saying that even though "the overall budget targets for 2012 are more or less predetermined...we think that it might be prudent to overachieve slightly as a precautionary measure."
