Irish consumer sentiment was unchanged in August. The overall Consumer Sentiment Index stood at 55.8 in August, compared to a figure of 55.9 in July. The corresponding figure for August 2010 was 61.4. The 3-month moving average slipped to 56.0 compared to the 57.2 recorded in July. The 3-month moving average stood at 65.2 in August 2010.
