Irish Consumer Prices fell 5.7% in the year to November - - deflation eased

Irish Consumer Prices in November, as measured by the CPI (Consumer Price Index) remained unchanged in the month, according to the CSO. This compares to a decrease of 0.9% recorded in November of last year. As a result, prices on average, as measured by the CPI, were 5.7% lower in November compared with November 2008. Deflation eased from an annual rate of 6.6% in October 2009.
