Irish consumer prices fell 3.1% in the year to March

Irish Consumer Prices in March, as measured by the CPI (Consumer Price Index), increased by 0.1% in the month. This compares to no change recorded in March of last year. As a result, prices on average, as measured by the CPI, were 3.1% lower in March compared with March 2009 according to the Central Statistics Office.
