Irish consumer price inflation rose by 2.7% in the year to May - - down from an annual rate of 3.2% in April

Irish consumer price inflation in May, as measured by the CPI (Consumer Price Index) , increased by 0.1% in the month. This compares to an increase of 0.6% recorded in May of last year. Prices on average, as measured by the CPI, were 2.7% higher in May compared with May 2010. The annual rate was 3.2% in April.
