Irish Consumer Price Inflation fell by 3.5% in the year to April

Irish Consumer Price Inflation in April, as measured by the CPI, decreased by 0.8% in the month. This compares to an increase of 0.1% recorded in April of last year. As a result, prices on average, as measured by the CPI, were 3.5% lower in April compared with April 2008, according to the CSO.
