Irish Consumer Price Annual Inflation increased by 4.7% in May

The CSO said today that Irish Consumer Price Annual Inflation in May, as measured by the CPI, increased by 0.8% in the month. This compares to an increase of 0.4% in May of last year. As a result, the annual rate of inflation increased to 4.7%, up from 4.3% in April 2008.
