Irish Consumer Confidence Index rose slightly in January

The overall KBC Ireland/ESRI Irish Consumer Confidence Index rose slightly in January to 48.7. This compares to a figure of 44.4 in December, and a value of 64.6 in January 2010. The January reading remains above the all time low in July 2008 of 39.6.
