Irish commercial property capital values down and rents up in first quarter according to the Jones Lang LaSalle Index

The Irish commercial property market slowed down in the first quarter of this year but was sustained by rental growth and showed a rise in overall returns of 3.2% in the year up to the end of March, according to theJones Lang LaSalle Irish Property Index. Overall returns in the first quarter of 2008 were down by -2.7%, caused by a drop in overall capital values of -3.6%.
