Irish broadband subscriptions rose by 6% during the first quarter of 2009

Irish broadband subscriptions rose by 6 per cent during the first quarter of 2009, despite the economic downturn. According to telco regulator ComReg’s quarterly report, at the end of March there were 1.27 million broadband subscribers in Ireland.
