Irish annual industrial production increased by 3.8% in April 2009; US-owned chemical sector up 35.9%

On an annual basis production for Manufacturing Industries for April 2009 was 3.8% higher than in April 2008. The most significant changes were in the following sectors: Chemical, chemical products and man-made fibres (+35.9%) and Radio television and communications (-23.8%), the CSO said today.
