Irish 2-year 2009/2010 export gain of 3.4% termed ‘Best in Europe’; Pity about the low foreign language competence

The Irish Exporters Association (IEA) has lauded the 2-year 2009/2010 export gain of 3.4% as the 'Best in Europe' but while foreign language competence is not important for the 90% of exports made by foreign firms as the sales are generally intra-company, the issue is for export development by indigenous firms.
