Irish 10-year bond yields again top 7%; Cost of insuring €10m of Irish debt from default rises to €490,000 after McCarthy warning

The yield on Ireland’s 10-year bonds again topped 7% on Monday and the cost of insuring €10m of Irish debt from default rose to €490,000 after the Sunday Independent reported yesterday that economist Colm McCarthy starkly warned that the International Monetary Fund will be running Ireland by February if the Budget "fails to convince the financial markets."
