Intel to spend $500m in Ireland as part of $9bn capital programme for 2011

Finfacts reported early Friday that Intel is planning a 73% rise in spending to $9bn in 2011- - on new plants and equipment to keep up with chip demand and to improve the capabilities of its products. Intel Ireland is to spend $500m in Ireland.
