The National Pensions Reserve Fund (NPRF) has announced that it will commit €30m to 2 venture capital (VC) funds in support of Innovation Fund Ireland - - this fund is a Government initiative to attract leading international venture capital fund managers to Ireland. Meanwhile, Ireland has been ranked 8th in the world for quality of research in Materials Science.
