Sentiment among consumers in Germany failed to improve on the already high level seen in March this year, at a time of rising inflation fears, according to GfK, the market research firm. Declines were recorded by economic and income expectations as well as the propensity to buy. The overall indicator is forecasting a value of 5.9 points for April, following a revised value of 6 points in March.
