Industrial production down by 2.3% in Eurozone in February; Annual plunge of 18.4%

In February 2009 seasonally adjusted industrial production fell by 2.3% in the Eurozone (EA16) and by 1.9% in the EU27 compared with January. In January production decreased by 2.4% and 2.3% respectively. In the year to February 2009 industrial production declined by 18.4% in the Eurozone and by 17.5% in the EU27.
