Increase of 11.1% in new Irish private cars licensed in June as car scrappage scheme ends

There were 9,240 new Irish private cars licensed in June 2011, compared with 8,314 in June 2010, an increase of 11.1%. The State subsidised car scrappage scheme ended at the end of June.
