IMF to sell gold; Strauss-Kahn says on global recovery “too early to declare victory and to say that the crisis is behind us”

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved the sale of a limited portion of the institution’s gold holdings, stressing that the Fund will conduct the sales in a manner that does not disrupt the international gold market. On the global economic recovery, IMF Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn said in a US TV interview that "it's certainly too early to declare victory and to say that the crisis is behind us."
