IMF says rising unemployment marks crisis third wave; Survey says global labour market is at turning point

The IMF - - International Monetary Fund - -  says rising unemployment marks the third wave of the financial crisis. It says policy action to combat the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression is working, but governments should not relax stimulus measures until recovery takes hold and unemployment levels recede. Meanwhile, in a report to be published today,  the international recruitment firm Manpower, will say the global labour market is at a turning point, with employers in nearly half of countries expecting net increases in their workforces over the next three months.
