IBEC says economic crisis demands new Irish public investment plan

IBEC, the business lobby group, today published its submission to the Department of Finance on how to revise the National Development Plan, demanding a new Irish public investment plan. The group called on the Government to move beyond crisis management and begin to invest again in the country's future. It warned that Ireland risked a two-speed recovery, with the domestic economy lagging behind as the export sector grows, unless decisive action was taken.
