Central Bank governor Prof. Patrick Honohan supports Ireland's "overall" approach to stabilising the deficit and banking system saying, saying it is "exactly right". In a speech in Dublin today he also said losses to 2012 of 12 banks operating in Ireland will amount to  €85bn, or about 55% of this year’s GDP.
