Hong Kong’s internet domain is biggest security threat to web visitors; Finland’s is world’s safest; Irish .ie domain sixth safest in Europe but rating fell in 2008

The Hong Kong (.hk) internet domain has jumped 28 places as the most dangerous place to surf and search on the web according to a report called Mapping the Mal Web Revisited which was produced by security software company McAfee and released on Wednesday. Hong Kong takes the mantle from Tokelau, a tiny island of 1,500 inhabitants in the South Pacific. The Irish domain (.ie) is the sixth safest in Europe.
