Greek MPs approve new property tax; Merkel calls for ’strong Greece’ within the Eurozone

Greek MPs on Tuesday approved a new property tax to meet demands set by the EU-ECB-IMF troika. Meanwhile, in Berlin at a meeting with George Papandreou, the Greek prime minister, Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, called for a 'strong Greece' within the Eurozone.
