Greece’s 2009 deficit revised up to 15.5% of GDP; Ireland unchanged in second place in the EU at 14.4%

Greece’s 2009 budget deficit was revised to 15.4% of GDP (gross domestic product) from an earlier estimate of 13.6%, according to Eurostat, the statistics office of the European Union, today. Ireland was unchanged at 14.4%.
