Greece on brink as Germany at risk of €465bn so far on defaults by struggling economies

Greece remains at risk of default as debate continues to rage in Germany on how to save the euro. At the weekend, the estimate of the cost risk so far for Germany is €465bn if Italy and Spain join Greece, Portugal and Ireland in the at risk of default group known as the GIPS.
