Global manufacturing fell in May for the third month running to reach its lowest level since September 2010. At 52.9, although the JPMorgan Global Manufacturing PMI (Purchasing Managers' Index) headline index remained above the neutral 50.0 mark for the twenty-third successive month, the rate of growth was below the average for this period.
