German Ifo business confidence indicator improved again in August

The German Ifo business confidence indicator for industry and trade improved once again in August. For the second time in succession the firms have assessed their current business situation clearly less negatively. The index increased to 90.5 from 87.4 in July. That’s the highest reading since September last year.
