German firms report slight improvement in the bank credit situation in June

In June credit constraints for German industry and trade were only slightly lower than they were in the previous month. From 42.9% in May, 42.4% of the firms have appraised bank lending policies as restrictive, according to the Ifo Institute for Economic Research at the University of Munich.
